I was a college student when “The Golden Girls” wrapped eight seasons on NBC and spin-off “The Golden Palace” commenced the following season on CBS in 1992 with unknown Kansas City, MO-born Don Cheadle as Roland Wilson. Rue McClanahan as Blanche DEVereAUX could remind of 27891 and evokes Geoffrey Owens’ NBC character, ELvin TibideAUX, last seen in “Cosby” finale, “And So, We Commence”. Dorothy Zbornak Hollingsworth marrying Lucas Hollingsworth(Leslie Nielsen) evokes Fritz and watch?v=NhNoZcU0N20

I'm thinking they did this talk show while The Golden Palace was on because Bea was not there. Also they look as they did during Golden Palace on this talk show. If this were in 1992, its likely they filmed this during the first half of the one and only season of Golden Palace.

aww Estelle Getty is adorable. I used to say that my cute little old grandma reminded me of her, and this brings back such good memories of her (my grandma, that is).
