I remember as kid that every time me and my family go to Central Park, my sista want to go to this around...but, it was always at night, which I hate cause I was scared of it at night. So, I don't go too close to the structure. LOL. But, I never knew about the story of the structure...I only knew that it was the story of Alice in Wonderland. Thanks for the great history of it!

@artistic84chick84 I'm glad that I could bring you to experience this sculpture more fully. I too can imagine how you felt walking by it at night. The surface of the bronze and the oversize figures have a very different aspect once the sun is down and the only thing that illuminates them is the dim artificial lights of Central Park.
