@dogfan4lyfe Anybody claiming to weatherize/seal a home w/out using a blower door is a crook. Blower door is test equipment that will not only find how leaky your house is but how much you seal it down, and it helps find the leaks making the sealing part much more productive. I would never try to seal a house down w/out one, how do you know when it's too tight? How do you know you even changed anything? Lot a "green" crooks out there right now, most of them actually.
I paid to have my attic sealed. I already had insulation up there (blown-in) and they had to pull it back. How can I know that they did a good sealing job?

Weatherizing a home w/out a blower door is dumb and risky and pretty much as ineffective as weatherizing can get.
