The July 22, 2011 will go down in the history of Norway as the worst day since the second world war.
Eight people were killed in the explosion in Oslo.
On Utøya 69 people were shot and executed. The vast majority of these were just kids.
This video is dedicated for all the people that died and got injured in Oslo and on Utøya during this bloody Friday.
In the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001 Bruce Springsteen wrote the songs that would become the album "The Rising" - which was released in 2002.
The theme of this album is terrorism in all possible angles. We follow the people who sacrifice themselves to help others and who suffer great anguish because of the loss of their loved ones. We also find that the people again starts to see hope after the tragedy that has strucked them.
All in all, "The Rising" is a record that tells us that there is hope after such terrible events and that we must never forget to fight for what is right.
