This guy gets me fired up about teaching. I'm am so ready to get into this profession.

Teachers have to have the passion that this guy has! They have to know not only math, or science, or english, or history...they have to know all that and then some. Whoever decided to be a teacher as a fall back obviously doesn't have the drive/determination that is required of a GREAT teacher!! Even saying that education is easier by comparison proves that whatever college they are going to does not require of their students all that should be required to make great teachers!

Hell, I'm a teacher's aide (soon to be teacher) and THAT'S not easy! And all I do is make copies, classroom prep, and tutor small groups of kids. I know first hand it's not an easy job, but you have to really love what you do or you'll be miserable. You have no idea how many teachers I've met/worked with that don't have the slightest interest in what they're doing. And it's always the kids that have to pay in the long run.
