  • very nice rocket! i wasnt really succesful with salicylate yet, either the rockets stuck on the spindle and i didnt manage to get it off without crushing the grain or they had almost no thrust and whistling was very quite compared to benzoate, though very unusual and strange in tone.. but regarding i pay twice as much for salicylate i guess ill stick to benzoate in the future

  • Try polishing your spindle with 000 steel wool (finest grade) or #1000 sand paper, and make it shine like a mirror. Also, press the whistle with some more pressure than you'd normally do with benzoate. Of course your whistle needs to be absolutely dry and very fine and intimately mixed. That should solve your problems.

    Hol dir graphitpulver aus dem baumarkt und schmier die Spindel damit ein, dann geht der treiber ganz ganz leicht ab
