GoGo Sentai Boukenger Accellular 轟轟戦隊ボウケンジャー アクセルラー

Well, 2006 brought us the Boukenjerks. And they brought us the WORST team-up movie ever... Boukenger vs. Super Sentai. AND they also managed to sneak in another cell phone changer; officially rendering the concept "overused" [This may have influenced the extreme design of Gekiranger's Geki Changer].

I'm not here to complain about that though, i'm here to review the Accellular! ^^

The Accellular is a pretty snazzy toy. While the Cell Phone concept has been pretty much played to death by now, Bandai managed to breathe some fresh air into it through functions. Instead of being a flip phone, this baby slides. And it can stop along the way for blacklight mode aswell. Neat!

Along with that we're treated to an excellent paint job [something not seen since Gaoranger's G Phone] and a variety of sounds. This is a pretty solid toy if I may say so. And fanfic/cosplay/play fans can enjoy the simplicity in it's face plate swapping.

This toy saw a release earlier this year in America under the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive Morpher line. It was given the simple title Overdrive Tracker. From the looks of it, both the JP and American versions are nearly the same save for some missing paint, a slightly different screen, and sound clips [ofcourse]. Either way, you really can't go wrong on this one here.
