Meshkatian was truly a natural successor of the people's poet and musician Aref Ghazvini. He like Aref had a keen understanding of Iran's social turmoil. He brought to his compositions the true feelings of the Iranian people at historic moments in the past 35 years. He will forever be remembered by all Iranians!
