how can you time a ccm autotrigger superstock?

Same as any cocker, ignore three way timing since it's a pump. Time the lug, back block, and cocking rod, couldn't be simpler.

2005 Prostock (superstock if it has the electronic select fire (SF) frame)

Timing the hammer lug will make your pull shorter and lighter, and then timing the back block is a good idea so the air hole in the bolt lines up. Lastly do the cocking rod to lower the chance of misfeeds and chops.

the cocking rod head, i can get to twist maybe half a turn, how far up in the head does the cocking rod go?

Depends on how far up it is already, you should be able to totally twist it off. If not work it with oil and loosen/tighten until the gunk in the threads clear out. Or pick up a good one for a couple bucks off ebay.
