Anti Drug and Alcohol PSA Commercial for Contest

For a college scholarship, I was required to make a 30 second anti-drug and alcohol commercial that was targeting middle school viewers. I could win $3000 dollars towards school if this win. Basically, it's a fucking parody. Any anti-drug/alcohol PSA is going to suck. It's going to fail. It will never be treated respectfully. Despite what is perhaps a positive message, people will always have a need for narcotics. It's sad, but hopefully watching a parody of them will please you.

I think that some of you people are misunderstanding what this video is...

First off, these aren't my thoughts on the matter but rather the opinions of the creators of this scholarship. I only did what they wanted me to do in order to make some money for school, so stop commenting about how it's bullshit and what not because I don't care, and neither do the other people who waste their time reading your comments.

Secondly, thanks for everyone who likes it. I made it when I was much younger and a lot less skillful with film direction, but my family seems to like it. The only reason I uploaded it wasn't to showcase my work but rather to please my family and friends who wanted to see it. YouTube makes things easier. And one last thing: I didn't win the competition. I didn't think I would anyway because at the time I didn't have great equipment and the winners of the scholarship in the previous years seemed to have professional gear. Also, the music was done by me (for those of you who asked).

@MichaelSirois If this is about pot, you have lost all of my respect. But if this is about the REAL issue about drugs, I salute you. I lost my friend last summer to exactly this shit. And if there was any way I could turn back time to help him, I would. But his death was a valuable lesson for me, and should be for everyone. Drugs just make everything worse even though it feels good, we die a little inside everytime we take a hit...

@Malakian720 The message is pretty simple. DO NOT let drugs take control of your life. It's not necessarily the fact that a drug exists that is the issue, it's that a lot of people don't understand how to control themselves while using them and in fact begin to lose themselves. I've lost friends too. I have friends heading towards death right now. Smoking pot won't kill you. That's not even the problem. Relying on a drug, however, and letting it run your life is the problem.

Drink alcohol and smoke weed. If you die from Doing drugs by taking too much or getting yourself hurt because you are too intoxicated then YOU ARE AN IDIOT!!!!!! Most people that drink and do drugs even at an early age grow up to be great people in society. It's the stupid people that make drugs look bad. In a nutshell, idiots + drugs = Death.
