Mats Sundin's overtime goal to beat the Senators - 2001

Mats Sundin ends a classic, beating Patrick Lalime on a long slapshot to win Game One of the Leafs/Sens 2001 series.

This was Lalime's first playoff game, and he dueled Curtis Joseph up until the final shot. Despite coming into the series as heavy favorites, the Sens would also be shut out in game two at home and would lose the series in four games.

Okay, no one tells a good Leaf joke like a Leafs fan. So, early in the new millennium, a Leafs fan walks into the liquor store and says to the clerk, "I'd like to buy a bottle of that new wine that's so popular in Canada right now." And the clerk answers, "Do you know the name of it offhand?" And the Leaf fan replies, "Yes, it's called Bob Cole and Harry Neale are so biased toward the Leafs!"
