Mats Sundin ends a classic, beating Patrick Lalime on a long slapshot to win Game One of the Leafs/Sens 2001 series.
This was Lalime's first playoff game, and he dueled Curtis Joseph up until the final shot. Despite coming into the series as heavy favorites, the Sens would also be shut out in game two at home and would lose the series in four games.

i could not agree more. Bob Cole is a legend, and i really feel the CBC has kind of just swept him under the rug a bit. Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson are good, but I find them a bit boring, where as Bob cole and Harry Neale have great personality. Other great play-by-play/commentators that i like that are still around today are Chris Cuthbert, Greg Millen, Mark Lee and of course, Joe Bowen for the leafs.

This is back when the first Easton Synergy came out. He was under contract to (Louisville?) and had to torch the silver stick black so he wouldn't be fined by the company for using a rival stick.

This was such a classic moment in the hey-day of the Pat Quinn era. So many classic rivalries with the Flyers, Senators, Devils, and the Sabres.
