Ideally you would want your games on a SSD. It really depends on how many games you have and how big they are.
Figure about 30-40 gigs for a modern OS and 20-30 gigs for program files will leave you with about 90 gigs leftover space for gaming. If your game library is smaller than that with room to breathe, by all means install them on the SSD.
Also, Steam beta will allow you to select install drives on a per game basis, so install steam to the SSD and then install on a game by bame basis.

So after we make a system image and are done with the basics, where do I install the games that I have bought, I.e. steam, cd roms online and stuff like that, I am buying a 160 gig ssd for os and at least a 2 or 3 terabyte hdd, where would I install the games? Or should I invest in a bigger ssd?
