This is 100% baseless. Wilson screened the film, but he didn't know what it was about or what it was like until he actually saw the film completely. Thomas Dixon appears to have fabricated the Wilson quote and Wilson disapproved of the film.

Crazy to think that just a little under 100 years ago the Klan was 3 million strong and now has around 2,000 members. Pretty crazy how much times have changed race wise.
