@McAndy89 Not quite. The C played in most music does indeed have the pinky down, making it a 'closed C'. You can play an 'open C' with the finger up, but I think that's mainly reserved for ceol mor.

well, well, well. great sounds bud. I used to play the pipes (Motueka, NZ. Highland Pipe band), still practice the chanter on the blue moon and study the occult/mind control/911/health issues & diet /big harma/ codex al. ect ect.. I live in Sydney. Go the Storm on Sunday's G-final.

Your little finger has to cover the bottom hole, for it to be a C note. Other than that good job. P.S Why support North Queensland?(LOL) It should be the Melbourne Storm (LOL)

M8 thats just somethin else i got 2 do while playin the pipes lol ...im still having probs swallowing lol ..only been playin bagpipes since oct2007 last year, but i prac the chanta for 2years b4 i got me pipes
