This is a rendering of some old Japanese stereoviews by master photographer T.Enami. The original photos were taken by T.Enami between 1890 and 1907.

This video was created automatically using the Start 3D (http://www.start3d.com) slideshow feature and then screen capturing the rendering. The Start 3D software converts each stereo photo into a gentle animation and then does a gradual depth reveal followed by a background blurr to highlight the 3D in the photo.
It's easy to create your own animated sideshows like this. Just take some stereo photos (you can use a normal camera and take two photos of the same scene from slightly different angles) and then upload them to Start 3D. Start 3D does the rest!
Cool....I've got a couple hundred stereoviews.....can I scan them and do the same?
