These are my top 18 favorite anime. I realize 18 is an odd number [and by odd I mean abnormal so please stop commenting about it!] but I couldn't leave any of them out.

School Rumble: Personally I was rooting for Harima to win Tenma, but it was clear that that wouldn't happen. Overall I watched the show for the comedic aspect and I gave up on romance. But, I laughed so much that I watched both seasons in 2 days.
La Corda D'Oro: By the end I was rooting for LenXKahoko,
but it was clear that they were gonna leave us with these various romantic possiblities to promote the RP game. So sad.
Arakawa Under the Bridge: JUST HILARIOUS. The only thing I could hope for would be a continuation in which we go deeper into Nino's whole Venusian thing.
Wallflower: So fun to watch, but I wish we could've had a more romantic ending for Sunako and Kyohei. The manga is also pissing me off a bit at the moment. I need some characer development.
The Familiar of Zero: Psyched for the next season. I really don't like the harem aspect and I wish that we could get some more development in the Saito/Louise relationship.
Fruits Basket: There is nothing bad to say about this except for the fact that it doesn't last longer. The whole story is a masterpiece and if it was all included in the anime it would be in my top 5.
OHSHC: So damn funny. Just wish that all the romance from the manga was in the anime.
Special A: Kei and Hikari are so damn cute, I just wish Hikari wasn't so damn clueless. The other SA members are awesome as well. I wish the anime ending was a little better. I'm noe too fond of them flying through the air. Just, WTF? I'm glad they kissed, but that was odd.
Full Moon: SO DAMN CUTE. And one of the best anime endings ever. If only we got to see a more involved interaction between Mitsuki and Takuto at the end.
Itazrua na Kiss: Irie is kind of an asshole, but I kind of love it. He is not the typical prince-like character so it gives us a little bit of reality to an otherwise typical, yet awesome, romance.
Lovely Complex: I just love how unique this is. We have two very awkward leads and yet they are still so hilarious and cute together.
Fushigi Yuugi: Kind of overly dramatic at points, but the characters are great and Miaka and Tamahome give us plenty of dramatic romance.
Inuyasha: This just has something for everyone in my opinion. I just wish that the ending of the Final Act wasn't so rushed and an "I love you" would have been nice, but oh well. Still an amazing series.
Angel Beats!: SO DAMN SAD. But also completely hilarious. And I just love how unique this is, not to mention that the music is awesome. Plenty of twists and turns and it really is an anime that makes you think.
Toradora!: LOVE. Enough said.
Kaichou wa Maid-sama: Seriously the perfect romance comedy anime. The female lead is strong and intelligent and the male lead is such a cliche, but you can't help but love it.
Clannad: I just love the story. Nagisa dying made me cry so hard and I basically cried the entire After Story, but thank the Lord that the end was happy.
Cross Game: Just amazingly executed. I couldn't stop thinking about this one for a good week.

@MyEvanescense I really do too. OHSHC is definitely my favorite manga, but I found the anime ending really unsatisfactory and there is so much that the anime wasn't able to do. It's hilarious and that's why I have it on the list, but it is missing a lot of the greatest parts.
