This morning Motorola got official with the Droid RAZR. Measuring in at just 7.1mm thin, Motorola is calling the handset the "world's thinnest smartphone." The phone is also the first to come sporting "Motorola SpashGuard" to help protect it from life's little accidents, and will have an optional lapdock (two of them) available as well as a slew of other accessories such as Bluetooth headset and a Bluetooth keyboard.

Along with the RAZR Motorola announced MotoCast, a new free application that lets your stream and download music, pictures, and other data from your home computer to your phone, as well as Smart Actions that help automate everyday tasks (such as putting your phone on vibrate while you're at work) to optimize the phone's battery performance.
Motorola Droid RAZR Specs 4.3″ qHD Super AMOLED screen 1.2GHz dual-core processor (could be the OMAP that is in the Galaxy Nexus) 1GB of RAM 4G LTE 8MP rear-facing camera, with 1080p HD video capture and image stabilization technology for crisp and clear videos HD forward-facing camera for video chat over 4G LTE, 3G or Wi-Fi 32 GB memory: 16 GB on board and 16 GB microSD™ card pre-installed (actual formatted capacity is less) Gorilla Glass screen Kevlar build materials Side lock switch 12.5 hours of talk time and 8.9 hours of video playback

The handset will be available in early November for $299.99 with a new two-year contract on Verizon. Customers can visit www.droiddoes.com/droidrazr to pre-order the Droid RAZR beginning on October 27.
