Presenting, Mango 2.0, my (largely) completed animatronic cyborg zombie. He is controlled by two phidget servo controllers, runs 16 servos, including seven high torque RobotZone gearboxes. He stands 6' 3", has a 40' reach, and has a greater range of arm movement than any of the pirates at disneyland. It takes aproximetly 30min to program 1min of performance, so I can get him to do pretty much anything; sing, dance, greet, present, perform, you name it.
The routine you see is completely per-programed.
Song is "Thriller" by Michael Jackson (but you know that, just as you know that I am in no way associated with the song or artist, besides the fact we've both made videos of zombies dancing to "Thriller")
He loves to dance, but only he thinks he's good at it.
Had to rush the video and process due to college, you you can expect more humorous, better quality, better choreographed videos in the future. I hope to get a job at a haunted house with him.
Why did I build him? Because I could? Because I'm a zombie enthusiast who happens to be an engineer? Because It's something few people have done over the course of a summer, purely for entertainment? Because I'm a tad mental? Not even I know.
Hi! I saw you on deviantart, so I clicked the link. (I devwatch Ichiko). Anyway, I hope this question isn't stupid, but does Mango actually have artificial intelligence, or did you just record things for him to say?

@mERMAIDofDEATh It's pre-programmed, though I've recently developed a system to control his body and voice real-time. High-tech ventriloquism, really. I'll get that video up sooner or later.

@ChristopherHillman Thank you. That means a lot to me coming from someone with experience in animatronics.
