  • dis song is rocking!!

first time i heard this guy....and I'm impressed!

  • A little story about Mr. Ashton...in 2006 a friend and I saw him at the Marrs Bar in Worcester (UK). A don't think many Brits are aware of this fine musician; at any rate there were only about 15 people at the gig - a disgraceful turnout. An artist with a bigger ego would have walked off, but Gwyn stayed, played and sang his heart out. That, in my humble opinion, is the mark of a true professional. A great rockin' bluesman and a great bloke!

  • Rory was indeed The Legend, The G Man and his Music will live forever..

  • A very humble Man... As was Rory Gallagher who loved most to entertain his supporters as he called them.. He hated the word Fans.. He was one of the best guitarists who didn't give in to commercialism, he stuck to his own style of play and stayed true to himself and isure it paid off..R.I.P... Gwyn reminds me a bit like Rory Gallagher..

  • @Rob50strat

He'd be a wealthier guy if he had a big ego, because his playing's up there with some of the greatest. But then he'd have to sacrifice his love of music for the love of money, and I guess that's a sacrifice that Gwyn wouldn't be keen to make. The man's a true artist.

  • @SirTedFairyspear ..I know Gwyn personally and its nothing to do with his ego.. Gwyn just loves playin' ...he'd play to a tennis shoe if it had ears... :D

  • @SirTedFairyspear Cool comparison, I like them both but which one is better...fight! :))

  • First time i heard him. Nothing to say. My new idol. Gwyn fan. So good

  • gwyn is good ...

  • Einfach nur geil!!

  • @theeviloneohyes

By coincidence I saw him for the second time last Saturday at the Upton Blues Festival UK. This time he played to a packed house of enthusiastic supporters. He's a bloody good musician; Australia's answer to Gary Moore IMHO!

  • @SirTedFairyspear sirfred i couldnt agree more ...this man really knows how to play ...the time will come when i get to see him live ...an i cant wait
