Best recording I've heard of this too. He's like Horowitz, he can thunder and go crazy, yet he plays the Brahms Ballades with infinite tenderness and spirituality. Brilliant.

@whyaminoob I was not, but she plays this so well that it hurts. It is not easy to keep calling myself a pianist after watching (or hearing) these videos.

ho letto che forse lisista meglio di lui?non bestemmiamo gentilmente fuori i blasfemi...ma dico vi rendete conto si o no cazzzo ma avete le orecchie o no?? ditro quest non c'e' sol interpretazione ma genio puro lui e cziffra n 1 di tutti i tempi fuori i dattilografi contemporanei da hung junh lim a lisista a wang yuja ecc eccc ,il piano e' questo non solo tecnica di vlocita'

I have got this recording and it seems to me that the conductor is Rafael Kubelik with the Orchestra Sinfonica di Torino della Radiotelevisione Italiana. Recording made live 28 of april 1961 in the Auditorium from RAI in Torino. I know this recording since very long and i recognised it
