Brilliant! I once heard a live performance of some Inuit ladies (Eskimo) singing in their throat style, a little different to this, but also quite similar. They used it originally to communicate across miles of ice and snow, the sound waves they made travelled vast distances.
Love the whistle effect in the background that the singer makes, so haunting!

it is not that Mongolia got " turkified". We were related throughout history. There were turkig tribes in nowadays mongolian land 1000 years ago, so we are all inter-linked. But we aren't that directly related. Right? You wouldn't say mongolia n more related to chinese than turk? look at mongolian language- a bit similar sounding to turkish.
