this question doesn't really have to do with scales but on technique, on that riff that you played (and with other riff's similar to it) i have trouble with keeping that low string from ringing out and my question is how do you keep it from ringing out?

@cheepo888 Your right hand mostly. The low E note that's being pedaled so always be Palm Muted. Your left hand can help slightly be nudging up against the adjacent (lower) string as you play as melody notes.
