Well The land was occupied by romans, then Turks and then British. Under UN the land was divided but the Arabs never accepted it and waged war and lost. The country Palistine never existed.

If there was no anti semitism in the Arab world or Europe, then the State of Israel would never of existed. Jews won the war against the Arabs and why should any nation or people give back lands that was won by war?

The blind, obsessive, and zealous support for Israel by the West, and the demonization of Palestinians (and Arabs in general) is the most disturbing part of the anniversary coverage and coverage in general.

Had it not been for Jamal Dajani and other "alternative news" outlets, I would have never known the word Nakba, the Palestinian struggle, and other important voices in this most volatile region.

Muslims never like to defeat so still in stone world they dont want to grow like Isarel. Look at the palestini news speaker he says Isareli and say occupied palestine funny very funny because if u dont want to recognise Isarel why u says isareli cant u says jews? means u accepted Isareli as country and palestini as occupied isareli state. Palestine people u want Isarel as it is now well developed not becoz ur homeland as ur homeland wasnt Isarel ur from Jordan only.

It's necessary to remenber that Israel and Palestine were diveded by the UN, Israel accepted that particion and the arabs not. The arabs declare war to Israel for that reason many palestineans lost their houses, not because Israelis, but because of arabs wars, why didnt u mention that in this video?

Are you implying that those in refugee camps (why the quotes, btw?) are there by choice? Are the Germans of Polish descent discriminated against in Germany?

Why do so many people think that the Holocaust of the Jews by the Nazis somehow justifies the holocaust of the Palestinians by the Israelis?

Zionism was genocidal from the start. Theodor Herzl, the father of Zionism, talked in his diaries of "spiriting the indigenous population across the border", in other words, stealing their land. Later Zionists talked about Palestine as "A land without peole for a people without land."

Millions of people were "displaced" from their homelands when the borders shifted throughout Europe. Many Germans were displcaced from their ancestral homelands when Polish border shifted, etc. I don't see them living in "refugee camps" and throwing rocks at the police. They GOT ON WITH LIFE!! Palestinians DID get screwed, but after 60+ years they really ought to get over it and get on with life...
