Discovery's Last Launch a Spectacular Sight. Space shuttle Discovery roared off Launch Pad 39A on its final flight to the International Space Station to deliver a new module, Robonaut 2 and other critical supplies.

  • way fun! this trip was well worth the travels. i've seen dozens of launches but the spirit was a trip in itself. the only regret i have is never seeing both a night launch and a landing : ( i would have shared my own shaky footage but my crappy iphone took a dump before i could sync(oh well). btw, don't get mad about the retirement of the shuttles just take a look at this..nasa.gov/mission_pages/s­huttle/shuttlemissions/sts135/­multimedia/gallery/opf2.html
