So beautiful. This is one of the songs that molded my childhood. This is for my sister and her family who just migrated to Canada. Quite sad. But for sure we'll see each other again.

We have a 45rpm copy of Vilma Valera's version of this song. I remember my aunt singing this while she sat on a swing under a huge mango tree while watching us playing with my cousins. Oh when life was so simple and yet so beautiful....

This was our theme song of my girlfriend named Heidi during our High School. I missed her so much. The last time I saw her was in early '70 before they migrated to the US. I think I still love her. Pepito M

Last time I heard this song was when I was in the Phillipines in 1969.
I can remember the tune and some of the words, but never knew the name.
It was a "young love" kind of thing if you know what I mean.
