ACL and Meniscus Tear Part 1

I tore my acl and meniscus its been about 2 weeks I am going crazy cause i am stuck at home doing nothing but watching movies. Will update every 2 weeks with progress.

ive done exactly the same as u and have had surgery to repair my meniscus cartilage.gotta wait 12 weeks to repair acl.i feel for u man

It Some of the worst pain i went through but everything is fin now about 6 months out i could do everything. Now at 9 month i can do pretty much everything with my brace on... Just went snowboarding last weekend...

Man I feel you I tore my medial and lateral meniscus and tore my acl and I am 2 weeks into it I had surgery april 3rd 2009 and I am goin crazy. I didn't have as much bruising but my leg looks the same as far as muscle deterioration.

to go through all this hell now with the physio etc and more and more time keeps passing by so what if they end up having to operate afterall ?!! GrrrRRHH its all so frustrating and such a headF**k it really is... how are you now then ?? i'm sure now this is but a distant memory to you, its great though to find others out there that have done the same injury...whilst your going through it u want a support group to go too or somete because it is such a lonely awful time whilst in middle of it..

i have done this exact same injury too ... did it in october just passed... life has been and still is hell...i work with racehorses so untill i can ride again i've got no work to be able to do :(( also the other really stressful bit is how slow it is on the nhs seeing the consultant now just once a month whilst inbetween that my life is literally in limbo , although it is getting better i worry whether i will have future problems from it, i have had no surgery yet, this worries me too...

i tore mine 2 1/2 weeks ago and waiting on the surgery. I just wanna walk already. How long did it take till you were walking normally after surgery?

Jesus, I tore my ACL and my meniscus, and strained my MCL on Wednesday March 2... in my lacrosse game. It's been like 6 days and I'm in hell. My surgery is March 21. I think OI've watched every single movie on netflix on my XBOX. It sucks, it was the 2nd game of the season too. And being a girl makes me not want to go to prom being in this ridiculous brace..

I actually opened up into a full stride run the other day. But it still gets stiff at times. I will be really testing it in 30 days I am going skiing. My brace is my new friend lol. Over all Im back to normal just need that brace for awhile longer.
