  • I would be shitting my pants if I was the conductor.

  • They also performed the North Korean national anthem, side by side with this.

  • Took alot of balls to play that in North Korea, great version.

  • NY Philharmonic is so lucky the north koreans didn't even kill them while playin the Star Spangled Banner DPRK hates USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wheres the end..u can't just cut it off..that's un American

  • @afurneaux1 Every year during august for the Mass Games.

  • Fucking represent! Take that Kim!

  • This is amazing, not very often Americans are allowed in to North Korea

  • And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,

Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there:

Oh, say! does that star-spangled banner yet wave

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave? ???????? mmm hmmm?

  • They didn't. Whoever made this video cut it off.

  • Whe did they play only a minute of it?

  • Only the loudest part of the national anthem was aired, not the sweet flute and oboe melody in between, this is because I guess he wanted the american anthem to seem obnoxious to the north korean public.

I knows this sounds like a weird explanation, but what isn't awkward about the entire anthem not being played.

But the NYPHil played the anthem marvelously :D
