Sorry NoorminAllah, even my Muslim friends tell me I am annoying, they know where I stand, & we respect each other, all I ask of them is to give serious consideration as to how to help Islam appear truly peaceful on the international stage of world affairs. You need a moral edge to do that, over and above the theism. Honestly I love all religions so it's difficult to commit to 1 I just wish people would hv a more inclusive umbrella of compassion, which is the basic tenet of all major religions.

@veganath I see what you are saying, however this attitude would do nothing to prevent oppression. Do nothing to stop bad/evil. Justice: outcome is peace Since I have choosen islam (parents are christian) I had studied and searched for the truth not assuming just b/c I was something it was true. When you humble youself to search and examine and ask GOD TO GUIDE YOU and look for evidence

You say "God is not his creation" by definition that would make God finite, as there would be thing that are not God, mean that everything including God & her creation would be bigger than God. Why can't God be human, also, after all she is by definition omniscient, omnipotent & omnipresent(i.e. All knowing, all powerful, & everywhere). Word cannot hurt, if you were to say that I am, for example, a murderer, if it is true, I would need to something redeem myself, if false I don't care.

@veganath Aren't you glad religion is not based on imagination? It's easy to see who is right. Examination of scripture and analyzation of the belief/concept of God. You see the Vedas were written by men. The Quran is the exact words of God. There are contradictions in the Vedas. In hinduism God becomes a part of His creation. As I have told u-this fact invalidates the belief

@NoorminAllah I don't label Krishna. Krishna is the name God has given to Himself when He spoke to Arjuna and I said I am Krishna, the originator of the heavens and the earth, completely perfect without perfection.God is not His creation.

If I were discussing with a Hindu I imagine she might say something similar, the problem arises, who is right, & is it even important?

@veganath Certainty is what is obtained through knowledge b/c in order to believe something with your heart with certainty you must understand it with your mind-intellect Read it for youself, my friend. The evidence is within itself. My job is only to tell you the message, in the end it all comes down to you. May God guide us all and keep us on the straight way ameen.

@veganath All the Prophets/Messengers came with the same message.Every nation/group of people was sent a messenger. We believe in all of them even some we never heard of. And God gives us a narrative straight from HIM about who they were and their life/story.So we can learn from them. The last messenger sent to man was the Prophet Mohamed saws.

@veganath What is real suffering? Your definition and my definition might be totally different, correct? So we need God's words to tell us what is suffering and how to obtain peace. The Quran is the words of God. Clarifying to us that which we differ about What is real peace? Real peace is submitting to God's will. To be in harmony with the rest of creation b/c the rest is doing as God commands/submitting.

@veganath No one or thing is compelling anyone to do anything. Which is why God gives us free will.He is the Compeller, but He withholds this to compell us and to give us the choice. It is Allah who tell us about Himself.You can't just make up whatever you want/like about God.He is the one who gave us guidance in the Quran to describe Himself and explain Himself, b/c we are only human and our comprehension is only at a human level.

You have said that God is a human and a spirit. To say that would be to make Him not god anymore.When you speak against a dictator you are causing him to suffer are you not?
