  • Is that a 2F engine there? Looks sweet. I had a 40 with a stock 2F on LPG and it just went and went, couldn't kill it. You can do a heap with them too. RELIABLE as.

  • thank you! no, it's a 1F engine...it's a 1970 LC but i got an earlier body, i think it's a '77...i just got the block painted...that's why it looks that way...i had my LC stored in my garage for 4 years, and when i started the engine (after 4 years without touching it) it ran like nothing had happended...land cruisers are AWESOME, i just love them!

  • yank that thing out... it's nothing but trouble believe me... i rebuilt it so many times... finally put a 350 v8 in...so much better!!!

  • i had a '74 impala and a '77 el camino...both had the 350 v8...I'd love to get a 350 on the land cruiser..but not yet..i have to do the paintjob first....can it keep the same gear box???

  • this is the best car in the world !!!!!!

  • Is this a crank start? A friend of mine at work has one the same year and model, his is a crank start. Can you please put a video of you crank starting it. Btw, Well Done, the car sounds great. I have a 45 FJ 82 with a 2F I think i'm the 4th owner. Never sell it.

  • Gotta love those old F motors, I could listen to this one for hours and never tire of it. Good job.

  • WD-40... haha but seiously looks awesome... keep up the good work

  • nice project you have there, keep up the good work.... respect to you

    jon

  • yeah it can.. the stock gear box is so tough you need about 350hp/lb to break it.. my toy drive train is completly stock... and with that 350 abused to the max i never had any problems... just overheating!
