  • 88M-10 here, drove most all of our military's heavy wheeled equipment, anyone who has, has to love them! I was at NTC running the 5ton, same truck (issue tires), talk about the pucker effect! No, never left state-side. SUPPORT OUT TROOPS!!! and please do respect all our men in uniform, pray they do not abuse their authority.

  • definitely SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

    definitely Pucker Effect at times.

  • Iwas issued an "M54" on okinawa japan in 1979 while serving with the marine corps, then when i rotated back i was issued an upgrade to the "newly" redesigned M813" ...Hell I thought i had a monster of a truck that was almost indestrucable, i was right, the "813" could handle any "field operation", high water , mud snow , sand , ice....it really didn't really care for ice that much.

  • You probably had stock issue dual tires on the rear which are about a foot shorter too. Drifting 27000 pounds on ice or a muddy side hill has rewards all of it's own. Pucker factor kicks in and off you go. I does pretty much go where you point it though with those few exceptions.

  • my grandpa got one of these, except a water one, same tho, for his fire dept, the tires are over 4 feet tall!

  • These are 52 inches tall.

  • @rushin2 i would have to agree with sticking to offroading......however as someone with friends and famlie overseas i know that most soldigers dont want to be there but have no choice and dont deserve the ridicule because they went..............if it wasnt for the american army the whole world be living by hitlers ideals right now. so regardless of wether or not you support the war, support the TROOPS!

  • I fail to see why there are so many dislikes. A man climbs into a truck and drives it around. Am I supposed to be offended?

  • @cgspeeddemon1 "it doesnt matter who they are fighting or why.....all that matters is you support them" What happens if Marshal law is enacted and they are fighting us will you still support them?

  • I could ride a BMX Bicycle up those unsteep hills, get real! Very nice truck though!

  • does that have the 250 cummins motor in it

  • @cgspeeddemon1

Wars by nature are aggression. And are fought by The People for The Governments (and their ideology)... Always has been the case...

First "we" create terrorists such as Taliban, al qaeda, PKK... Than "we" fight them. Go figure...

Meanwhile - millions of civilians get slaughtered...

    What is your point?

Lets stick to 6x6 or 4x4 - less painful and requires less facts to discuss... Doesn't require to strain brain cells...

  • @rushin2 it doesnt matter who they are fighting or why.....all that matters is you support them. most of them dont want to be overseas in this make believe war either but they dont get to choose what wars they fight, if you have a problem with the war take it up with the "authorities" that sent them there in the first place!

  • Support our troops?.. What troops? Why do they need "my" support? They are not "defending" us from anyone, but fighting the same "evil" doers that were created by "us." I can't believe people have those stickers on their cars... brainwash...

steep and slick hills - I don't see much mud on the tires for it to be "slick."

In America (for now) it's fun to "mud." In Russia - it's an everyday reality.

    Strange...
