The first two trains were shot on Scott AFB and the other two were shot in Shiloh, IL. When I got home from SAFB I chilled at the house for an hour and I decided to go to the NS tracks cause I heard that NS 223 was departing Coapman, so I decided to head down there to catch it. While I was riding my bike on Shiloh Station Road I got a flat tire cause I hit a nail. So I left my bike at the road so someone take it cause my bike is old besides I'm getting a new one anyway. But I did manage to catch NS 223 7minutes later after I left my bike. Anyways I had a great time today. Here are the trains I caught today.

Train 1: NS 375
NS: ES40DC #7650

Train 2: NS 239
NS: D9-40CW #9371
NS: D9-40CW #9014

Train 3: NS 223
NS: D9-40CW #8992
NS: D9-40CW #9597

Train 4: NS 224
NS: D9-40CW #9942
NS: D9-40CW #9965

  • NS really needs to replace that bell at SAFB crossing. Why on earth did they replace the mechanical bell to begin with, had it quit working? I hate it when RR's replace perfectly good working mechanical bells, especially when the e-bell they replace it with then quits working (no names *cough cough* UP *cough cough*)!

  • The one on SAFB doesnt even work at all. The mechanical bell was already gone when I moved here of June of 08

  • Haha you lost your bike. LOL

  • lol I had that bike for four years. Im getting a new one this week

  • Yeah Kelby, but still that's funny. That must've sucked when you got the flat and then it got stolen. LOL

    Trent

  • LOL I just left it there at the side of the road hoping that someone will take it cause I didnt want it no more. So I had to jog to the tracks lol.

  • Wow what a great day to film! Great catches!

  • once the crossing at 6:15 is finished you should do a documentry on it and show us a train with it and see what bell it has.

  • their finally puting in gates and changing the crossing signals on the crossing at 6:15

  • D---it! I knew it was only a matter of time before NS put gates at Shiloh Station Rd. When's the last time you went out to Germantown? Get out there before they put gates in - aside from the SAFB xing, the Germantown xings will pretty well be the last gateless signals left on this line! The Prairie St. crossing is especially cool, you should get a train there.

  • LOL
