MY BROKEN TV =( (MAGANAVOX 26" LCD HDTV)

MY TV BROKEN AFTER A YEAR OF HAVING AN HDTV IT QUIT WORKING THURSDAY. IT WILL NOT POWER ON AT ALL AND I CALLED THE COMPANY SATURDAY AFTERNOON! AND THEY SAY IT WAS OVER A YEAR OLD AND THEY GAVE ME A SERIVCE CENTER IN MY AREA TO TAKE IT TO GET REPAIRED I DO NOT KNOW WHEN I TAKE IT IN

UPDATE - IT WILL BE GOING TO A REPAIR CENTER FRIDAY, NOW I KNOW YOUR WONDERING WHY I HAVE TO TAKE MY TV TO THE REPAIR CENTER AND NOT SHIP IT TO THE COMPANY WHO MADE IT? WELL ONE ITS OVER A YEAR OLD AND THE COMPANY WILL NOT REPAIR IT, SECOND IT DIE THURSDAY NIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT SO I REALLY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT HAPPENED..OR HOW IT DIED, SO HOPEFULLY THEY CAN REPAIR IT SOON AND THEN TELL ME THE PROBLEM AND I WILL HAVE IT UP ON YOUTUBE AFTER THEY REPAIR IT...=D THANKS FOR WATCHING...

UPDATE-ITS AT THE REPAIR SHOP, THEY GIVEN ME A TICKET WITH THE MODEL NUMBER MY INFORMATION, THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH IT IS TO REPAIR IT YET THEY WILL CALL ME TUESDAY OR THE NEXT DAY.. I AM HOPING THEY WILL BEABLE TO REPAIR IT.. AND IT WONT COST ME SO MUCH MONEY BUT I WILL KEEP THIS VIDEO UP ..THEY DID NOT TAKE THE STAND OR THE POWER CORD OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT SO I AM NOT SURE WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO USE TO FIX IT BUT ITS IN THE REPAIR SHOP!

UPDATE-3/9/09 REPAIR CENTER CALLED, DEAD POWER SUPPLY, WHICH IS NOT AS BAD AS I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BUT I AM SO HAPPY I HAVE APPROVED IT TO BE FIXED ,THEY STIL HAVE THE TV THE PART WILL BE IN A FEW WEEKS

update- i am sick and my hdtv works again yhay...

UPDATE-IT DIE AGAIN, OH WELL I GUESS I WILL CAUSE A PROBLEM THIS TIME...

Thanks for giving me a shout out in your vid thats cool. That sucks with your TV broke yeah mine is doing the same thing it won't turn on. But now my Cord is gone and I believe my daughters took off with it and no telling where it is now lol. I hope you get it fixed real soon cause thats a nice HD TV.

your children took off with the cord..it's probably in there bedroom or something? yeah i know right and it just magically die? what the? i don't know how or why because i was asleep when it powered off for no reason and its like now it wont turn on at all =/ so friday i will be taking it to the repair center and having them fix it..or my god theres gonna be problem if they can't fix it

yeah I looked all in there rooms and no cord. i'm like DAMN IT where is it lol. But like it turned on anyways lol. Yep I hope you get it fixed cause thats when my birthday is its friday I hate getting older lol

Well I'll be turning 27 and I just don't feel 27 lol. But my birthday present to myself is a promise to myself to get back to looking like I did at 18 and work out like CRAZY starting tomorrow I haven't worked out in like almost 5 months. Thats a long time for me cause I always worked out before that lol

slickt!! i'm just waiting for my sister then my tv goes to the repair center yhay..i packed everything..the tv remote,tv stand,tv cord (in a ziplock baggy with tv remote,cord,screws for the stand)i'm actually happy dancing!! i hope you find the cord for your hdtv that the children supposely hidden on you ...this is pepsifreak04 signing out!! -dances-

yea had da same problem but mine wont turn off and the buttons wont work :( any advice?

I just fixed mine exactly like yours. My problem was the screen was completely black but I could change channels and hear the audio. I only layed it on the floor on its side and now it works. I doubt know how but I hope it doesn't happen again.

mmmm Check to see if the fuse hasdnt gone ? , how long do you have it running ?
