Hiya hun - just wanted to say - I'm about to be a student midwife in Britain in Sep and all your pics brought a tear to my eye - this is the kinda birth I would love to be a part of every day of my career - a beautiful, close family! I wish I could have been a part of it am so glad you have let the world see! Wishing you all lots of luv xxxxx

Babies are usually born that color, or with a purple tinge until they start breathing and pink up. It is totally normal :)

You are obviously ignorant and immature. She probably felt more comfortable on her knees and the midwife reached through her legs to take the baby. Why would you leave such a comment and dishonor this beautiful family during such a sacred and special time? You need to grow up!

very beautiful birth! i had a water birth with my first son three years ago. its such an amazing thing to go through.
i was wondering how long it was before they cut the cord? they cut my sons immediantly, i had wanted them to wait.

I'd have to ask my Midwife to be sure, but I am thinking it was at least an hour later.
