From Animal to Our House: A Love Story tells how Ron and his then-girlfriend Jill bought a wrecked former frat house -- condemned property -- and brought it back to its original Victorian splendor. They knew nothing about fixing old houses but, after much work and many mistakes, they realized their dream, got married in the house, then were featured in THIS OLD HOUSE magazine.

    sorry I guess it actually called Du Ma House, 2244 Alder St., Eugene OR

    but I was thinking of the Lorax House 1648 Alder St, Eugene, OR

    but the house you renovated, I now realize was much much bigger. Wife and You did an excellent job on that with yours. The town owes you for not letting treasures like that slip away. The ones in Eugene were also former Frat House, now Student Cooperatives
