the bottom of my wick got DESTROYED while i tried to insert it through the top, is this okay?

@legendofsource no you should twist it a little before inserting it, as far as your current wick being permanently damaged? no you can still use it just trimm it when you get a chance

@skatterpro just loosen up the flint screw at the botton a little bit and you should be fine

@TheProTToType sometimes when you twist the wick too much when you insert it in to your zippo fluid will leak from it (not actual fluid but fumes wich are the flamable part of the fluid) something like that (you get the jist)

anywho look in to that or your wick might need triming
