@mrstratego You have to walk past it to get anywhere in the game...

My brother who's four years older than me beat this game back in the early 90's and I'd watch and be amazed at how cool the game was. After remembering how cool the game was but forgetting what happened in the game bc I was only 4 or 5 at the time, I picked it up a year ago and tried to beat it and it kept freezing on me. Finally beat it. Hard game but totally worth it. I hope they do a remake or something involving the same characters. It'd be interesting to see how theyd look now adays.

I THINK THIS IS THE ONLY GUY THAT EVER BEAT THIS GAME.LOL.

I gave up trying when I was a kid playing this game. Thank you so much for letting me see how IMPOSSIBLE it was and you PWN'ing it. My mouth dropped so many times on thinking "No WAY could I figure that out." Good job, dude.

i used to try to beat the fuck out of the game but never could...
either I got stuck not knowing where to go, or simply died from falling too high!

I did that to find out where the silver pick was in NES Ultima: Exodus.

Oh no way, this game is awesome. It's my favorite NES game. I was able to win it when it was new, but yeah it did take pretty much a solid month of trying everything out and running into a lot of dead ends. The worst part was maybe the mom's area because you'll run out of magic a lot down there. And in a game where magic = item charges / your main weapon, that sucks.

Umm...Deadly Towers for the NES was garbage.

I loved and hated this game. Hated it because it was so freakin hard but I finally did beat it, I think i was 11. My only stumbling block was on one screen where you had to push down on one of the blocks and you would drop to a new screen. Took me 3 months to figure that out.
I'd never beaten this game, but I loved playing it. The m usic was so much better than any other NES game I had played. It was just so damn beautiful - for an 8-bit system especially. I also like the gameplay, but the many "secrets" fustrated me. Definately a game worth playing, even more so if you know the "solution" to it. Thanks for the video Artificialraven. Much appreciated.

hey, you're welcome. I might have a surprise coming in the future to those who liked the music of this game. Only time will tell.

Played this when I was 8 back when it first came out, played to the end and didn't know how to get to the last boss. I also remember this game being the cause of my first grounding ever after I called the 900 number for the Nintendo Power hotline because of this and cost my parents $15/20 for the call, lol. Still like playing this game ever now and then. :)

hahaha funny you mention that, I got in big trouble back in the day for using the 900 number when I was trying to beat Brainlord for SNES.
