General speaking: how do you expect a band to play always the same type of music or sound? People change, people evolve, and so does a group or a given sound. Dont complain. It would be more sad if a band would play always the same type of music over and over again. Music adapts just like people, dont foget it.
i thought they were going to be heavier too i loved fake sound of progress and start something . wasnt keen on liberation transmission thought it was to pop but i expected a lot more than this im still going to see them next year and will hope the rest of the album is better..people really dont like negative comments do they hahaha
i think alot of people think just because you like a band you have to like all there songs i love LP but think some of there songs are shit as i do with most bands i like. just because i obviously got the wrong idea of dark im pissing people off. i thought on youtube you listen to a video and post your opinions last i heard everyones opinions are usually different. plus i just got called a twat for saying cheryl cole is a bad role model and cant sing..haha but that amused me
Well lets be honest, "dark" is such a malleable term...you can't really argue over whether or not somethings dark, unless its Winnie the Pooh, or...Waking the Cadaver...or something extreme like that, because what one might consider dark, another doesn't in any way at all... (I was struggling to think of something dark there...seriously, couldn't think of ANYTHING!) =P
well, it depends on how you want to take it, the lyrics are rather dark, from how i interpret it, he's invading a girls dreams and just tearing her apart really, like an ex is dreaming of him, hes creating pure destruction in anothers mind.. the fact that the mood set by the background isnt all dark and somber adds to it because he shows no remorse, but this is just my opinion =)
I would not consider this terribly dark. Angsty, certainly. But dark? Nah. Dark, to me, implies somber, jaded, grim. Right in Two is dark. Neonate is dark. The outro of Painted is dark. This is just, "Aww. Look at him. He's getting all angry. Adorable."
i dont listem to screamo at all actually i just obviously thought dark meant something else and also wouldnt want them to get super heavy as it wouldnt suit them. there old albums made them sound different to everyone else and now i dont think they do no need for everyone to get there knickers in a twist i really like them just thought thhey could have done better
