  • I am tired already of these candidates claiming "clean coal" and nuclear as legitimate alternative energy sources. Stop saying "clean, alternative energy" and talk about something real. Solar? Wind? That is what we need. The only thing that will halt global warming and really put us on the path to sustainable self-sufficient future is truly renewable energies - solar, wind, plug-in hybrid vehicles. What about a cap on carbon emissions? Come on Hillary, don't take us for fools...

  • I personally would like to see incentives for people who drive hybrid cars, because right now there are no incentives if you lease one, and very little incentive if you buy one, even taking into account higher MPG. You still end up having to pay more than for an equivalent pure gas car.

  • look up the "petro-dollar"

  • will you make GM bring back the EV-1

  • Your policy on Global Warming is brave and motivating!! I'd like to see the U.S. become the leader in the use of alternative energy and boost our economy through environmental responsibility!

  • Get specific about WHAT KIND OF ALTERNATIVE ENERGY?? You need to look into HEMP!!! It's already been researched. HEMP IS THE ANSWER! Have the guts to talk about it...

  • There is at least one sane person left in this country.

  • Forcing oil companies to invest or contribute to the strategic energy fund will force them to pass the cost on to the consumers, raising gas prices. So instead of our money going directly to the fund through taxation, it will pass through the oil companies first. The point is that the money will still be coming out of our pockets into the fund. Sounds like a tax to me.

  • well in the oil company's case its pretty much like asking them to raise their hand. A few million bucks probably looks like child's play to them

  • if i was american i'd vote for you. i think that british people should be able to vote in the US elections, your policies affect us soooo much we should have a say
