In this lesson we'll continue addressing some major differences between the preterite and the imperfect tenses in Spanish. Both are past tenses but they have different meanings.

In the previous video I showed examples while in this video, we go more over some rules or 'tendencies' of the two past tenses.

  • Also, can you change an imperfect tense to a preterite by rewording it? Ex. "The pizza was hot as he was eating it" could be made preterite by saying "he ate a hot pizza," right?

  • @zondrah89 Sure... 'comió pizza caliente'
