Lumen is a concept of an interactive display device that can dynamically change its own mechanical shape in order to communicate information to the users. Lumen therefore is a combination of visual and haptic interfaces. in five to 7 years we will probably have comercial holograms, then in 3 years or so we would have interactive holograms so this is only usefull for the blind

its really cool, with this size, its just useless... But it looks nice!

ppl u are not thinking of future.... watch your LCD monitor of (1680 X 1050px in my case) now imagine all this 1.7 millon of pixels changing shape in front of you in colours.
The posibilities are unlimited.. for example.. someone touch his screen and you see the change in your monitor.. like touching you...

Gente, no estan pensando en futuro.. miren su monitorn, en mi caso de 1680 x 1050 pixels. Ahora imaginen esos 1.7 millones de pixeles cambiando de forma frente a ti y en diversos colores. Las posibilidades son enormes.. por ejemplo que alguien toque su pantalla y vos veas ese cambio en tu monitor.. es como si te estuviera tocando.

cool!! touching sensation could probably be transimtted in this way via internet as long as the sensor be made very delicate
