The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German language: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes, often simply Ritterkreuz) was a grade of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was the second highest military order of the Third Reich, second only to the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross. It was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership during World War II. (From Wikipedia)
# 1 Grand Cross of the Iron Cross (Only one holder: Generalfeldmarschall Hermann Göring)
# 2 Knight's Cross with Golden Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds (This grade of the award was to be awarded twelve times only. The sole recipient was Oberstleutnant Hans-Ulrich Rudel.)
# 3 Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds
# 4 Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords
# 5 Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves
# 6 Knight's Cross
Here I have assembled a photographic slide show of winners from all branches of the services. Some, as you will see, may not be wearing the Knights Cross in the actual photo which is due to either my not being able to find one of them wearing it, or that they were awarded the Knights Cross posthumously.
whoever gave this a 1 star is probably thinking these people are nazis or they're a jew themself.
