Im serious; that was one of the most funny responses I have ever heard. I am now more dumb than I was before I heard Geithner respond. That shit was straight out of the movie billy madison when adam sandler rambled on about nonsense for 5 minutes when it had nothing to do with the answer in the academic marathon (if you saw the movie).

The money is going to come out of our taxes. During the 1984 Presidential campaign, Walter Mondale boldly said that taxes would have to be raised in order to control the deficit. He lost, of course. Four years later, Bush the First was elected, in part because he boldly declared "Read my lips--no new taxes!" He eventually raised them, of course. If our public officials hedge their words, it's because of the unrealistic demands of us, the people. Maybe we should grow the f--- up.
