My solution is to implement civics education as a standard for education. The only standard for civics in Arizona is in the senior year of high school in only one semester of government. The issue, however, is that Arizona has a 68.2 percent graduation rate. This means that 37.8 percent of teenagers that drop out of high school will most likely not be receiving knowledge of civics. The information that civics teaches shows students how to be responsible citizens of our state and country.
