Essex Valley Railroad: Riding On The 2:30 Santa Special Train Behind Steam Engine #97 (Part One)

On the Essex Valley Railroad's last operating day, December 28th, 2008, we take you on board for a ride on the last Santa Special train of the Essex Steam Train's last operating day in 2008.

Santa and Mrs. Claus and Rudolph will be on board the train, along with Santa's elves and other guests!
Children on board recieved presents from the elves and it couldn't have been a better way to celebrate Christmas on board this popular train PACKED with excited passengers. This event was extra-ordinary and is a great way to celebrate Christmas.

In this video, part 1 of 5, you will experience the first 10 minutes of this enjoyable ride.

Note: In a few parts in this video, something couinsidental or possibly on purpose that happened, like at Old Depp River Road, 97 appeared to be "singing" the song too at the chorus of 'Rudolph the red nosed reindeer' with 97's New Haven 6-Chime Whistle!
