Jamacians are traditionally fast bescause they are raised from childhood to be elite level sprinters. Jamacia takes track extremely seriously compared to U.S and other top track nations. Jamacians are raised to be fast just as Ethiopians and Kenyans are raised to be perfect distance runners.

@jabmalassie I'm old enough to remember Jimmy the Greek. Yes there is a lot of truth to what he said. As for Jamaica I don't know if they had the stronger slave or not. I do know, Haiti had a huge trade with the USA but this is all beside my point. U have to admit Usain is special & it's not bc he's black or from a stronger slave trade. He's special bc no man that tall in the history of sports could move that efficiently fast. Tall people usually don't move that fluidly. He also trains hard.

Many people go hungry in JA, Water not always that clean, Political violence is common. Most look 100% black but are not. I don't know the answer to why Jamaicans clean up in track. Not saying you are right or wrong.

I think Kenyans are the most dominant at long distance than Jamaicans at track and field.

I don't think the advantage will last.As Jamaicans move and adopt to a different way of living and intermarry. The offspring will be just like any other Western Country.
