Being British, I've never really cared much for Bush, but I think his reaction here is completely understandable. Most people were horrified when they found out what was going on that day, and here's the president of that country being informed and looking over a bunch of kids who could have had relatives in those towers that day. Surely it's not an easy moment.

@55STONY I agree he should have moved alittle quicker. But think about it, He is a human being, in his first year in office, He is probably in shock at what he just heard. He had to gather his thoughts.
Our president is, was, and always be human. He isnt superman with a plan for everything.

Don't let kids notice that their country is under attack is also his obligations.Because ontherwise people are gonna panic.And you don't want a country full of panicking people,do you?

@yassup17 what u mean "even if he could stand up" he wasnt tied to the chair,so what if the kids sensed something was wrong,i know they are not stupid,but i think the safety of the citizens of America comes before a few kids in a school thinking something is wrong,sorry but i dont give a fuck what the little kids think,the president must fulfill his obligations to national security

Yeah right,like if you hear your country is under attack:you can walk out of a class quietly.Even if he could stand up,excuse himsefl and walk out of the classroom.Than you would still see rage in his eyes and that he's shocked.Kids see things like that,they aren't stupid.They know when something is wrong

all bush had to do was walk quietly out of the room and excuse himself,kids aint going to know what is happening.

@x30xSabresFan .HE is the president,he should have excused himself from the classroom,tell the children he had urgent business to attend,he didnt even know if it was a nuclear attack,every second counts,it might take 30 mins to get a plan moving,but it takes 40 mins if u sit on ur hole listening to childrens story time,
