Being from Montreal, Canada, I find sad to see all this BEAUTIFUL land not used or misused. Here, the value of the properties have tripled over the past 10 years. Lack of space has become a problem. The price of parking space downtown is constantly rising. Agricultural lands in the suburbs had to be "dezoned" to residential areas for the construction of new houses because montreal cannot contain the growing amount of population.
Someday Detroit will be taken, nicely or not.

How can you save a place that doesn't want to save itself? The people of Detroit were given choices when they voted!
