Who knows much of the US may be free for the taking since it is so badly mismanaged to such extent that it might not be in existence in 40 years time.
Being from Montreal, Canada, I find sad to see all this BEAUTIFUL land not used or misused. Here, the value of the properties have tripled over the past 10 years. Lack of space has become a problem. The price of parking space downtown is constantly rising. Agricultural lands in the suburbs had to be "dezoned" to residential areas for the construction of new houses because montreal cannot contain the growing amount of population.
