  • Hi, I had the nausea, loss of appetite, and severe stomach cramps as my first sign of dysautonomia. An upper endoscopy revealed gastroparesis. This is when the stomach stops contracting and food sits in it causing nausea. Reglan is the treatment if you can tolerate it. I hope it is not GP, but know that it is common with dysautonomia.

    All the best,

    Heather

  • Thanks for the reply Heather...I had an upper endoscopy back in 2005 and it came back fine other than some acid reflux...who knows if it would now though lol!

  • Can I ask you some questions about your pains.... Like you said you have back pain. Where is it located, because I am also suffering with back pain and nausia, and I don't leave the house much at all, and I have Fibromyalgia.

  • hi there! my back pain then was in my lower back, but have been having lots in my neck and upper back/back of head lately. along with stiffness. i have no idea what it could be!

  • You seem to be doing ok considering your diagnoses. I was recently diagnosed with an rare autoimmuned disorder called pemphigus vulgaris. This disease affects less than 1% of the population. It's not a disabling disease, just some mouth ulcers, loss of 50+ pounds, loss of strength and coordination. Worst U can do is lie in bed and let it take over you. Just like I have some days I feel I'm getting better and next day feel like crap. Happy to say, I'm back in the gym and recovering well, so far.

  • I haven't looked through all your vids, but... I've had a "flu", that lasted 2 days. I had POTS, unknown, that lasted a month, couldn't hold down solid food, lived off of snapple meal in a bottle just hoping some of the nutrients would absorb before I threw it up. I lost 25lbs, I went to the hospital cause I didn't have another 25 to lose. I had to take care of it myself w/o insurance. For years. Only recently when my ankles swelled to grapefruit I got a POTS diagnosis... good luck...

  • I just now saw this video, i know it is from like a year ago, but its crazy because that is exactly what is going on with me right now! I've had POTS for 2 years, and recently i caught a stomach bug, which i stayed home a couple days from school for, but it quickly turned into weeks because i've been so incrediably tired and nauseated and dizzy! They just tested for mono yesterday. I'm so worried about having to switch to homebound!

    Hope you are doing well!

    XOXO

  • how are you now?
