looooool so small, so weak nº2 ??? ahahahhaaha

Well because they only built three of them they didn't get the benefits of the economies of scale that comes with a longer production run. Look at the reductions in per unit cost and manufacturing time which has already been achieved with the Virginia class line. If the Chinese start developing truly capable nuclear powered SSBNs I can see a Seawolf/Virginia hybrid class emerging to counter it.

Where is Submarine position 1 ???

The Seawolf may be a sports car but it's expensive, parts have to be custom made to maintain them, and they'll often scavenge parts from each other to get the boats to sea. As it goes the Seawolf itself is nicknamed the "Portwolf" or "Pierpuppy" because it's always broken.
