@cometz13 The nordic theory was later disproven when further haplogroup research showed the migration patterns of the Aryans could not have initiated at one point, and traveled in a single linear path. Keep in mind that India/Pakistan borrow a lot of words from the Persians. Pakistan is a persian word. Punjab is also a persian word. And these are used to refer to those people/regions.
Though the Aryan terminology predates even the old persian language, from around the Akkadian script times
-
@cometz13 Hitler's revival of the Aryan terminology was based on his belief that the race was superior to others. He was referencing the Persian/Iranian Aryan terminology. If memory serves me right, he gave a 40,000 book library to the Shah of Iran, covering the Aryan race and the link between the Germans and the Iranians.
After all this had happened, someone came up with what is called the Nordic theory, which stated that the Aryans went from Scandinavia to Iran, not the other way around
-
Aryan as I have been taught has two meanings: The ones that came to India and blah blah, and that Hitler thought we scandinavians were the true aryans (lie).
So where does the word come from then?
Of course it has a bearing! persia (the ancient empire) was vast and todays territory that Iran occupys isn't even close to as large. And yeah i know Iran always was the centerpiece...
-
@cometz13 You have absolutely no clue, do you. The word "Aryan" also existed in sanskrit, as you mentioned, but it is not the origin of the word, nor is it the same as the racial designation used in Persia.
Regardless of your views on Iran, it is still known in the United Nations as both Iran and Persia and the names can be used interchangeably, and has no bearing on what we're discussing. Persia was a larger empire at times, but it was always based out of modern day Iran.
-
Do you know where the word Aryan has it's roots? It means noble in sanskrit, and sanskrit came from the pakis and indians. Now, the aryans conqured india and made up a class system, the first of it's kind and on the top there were only aryans, (nobles), the lower castes consisted of the Indians themselves.
And if you say persia, it's still isn't Iran, because persia was a GIGANTIC empire. Todays iran is a shit turd in comparison.
-
@cometz13 i recommend you back away slowly. this topic is beyond your level of comprehension. there are thousands year old inscriptions at ancient sites in present day iran stating that they are aryans. following actual haplogroup migration, its shown that the aryan race initiated by the caspian sea (persia, at the time) and spread both ways towards germany and scandinavia, and to the south of iran, afghanistan, and through some wars had partial migration to northern india.
-
Wrong.
Hitler came up with a theory that they were Aryans. (Scandinavians)
The aryans originated from northern India and conqured the land and created the first real class system and later spread to Iran, and then into Europe where they spread out.
nice song and by the way fuck the iranian government

Ok here's your problem. Iranians are Aryans. Iran is also one of the most multi-ethnic countries in the world. A minority of Iranians are pure Aryan. You'll find this mostly in the dervishes and other tribes people who didn't get mixed during wars/etc..
Secondly...Aryanism has nothing to do with blonde hair and blue eyes. That was the Nordic Theory, stating Aryans came from Scandinavia, which was disproven later. They originated in northern Iran.
Stop seeking acceptance
